I could not sleep the night before, why? Because tomorrow was my first day exploring the exotic country of Colombia. I deiced when in Rome, do what the Romans do, so i am going to visit the fear less Leader, Alvaro Uribe Velez. So i woke up, got ready, ate, and left for his Palace. The capital, Bogotá. It was beautiful like a pearl shinning in the day. The town has a sparkle that most other locations could not replicate. The people were happy and the market places were full of joy and people buying and selling goods. This was the heart of the city.
So i went to his palace, and waited outside. A large guard was waiting there. and he had the cutest dog. i wanted to pet it so bad, but on the wall of the guard station was a sign that said killer dogs, beware. I found it t be in my best interest and deiced to resist petting the cute K9. After being cleared i went on my way to see y new friend. This building was Different from most f the other buildings in Colombia because this house was colorful and delightful, while the other house looked a fraction of the size and not delightful to live in.
After waiting for another couple of minutes, Alvaro Uribe Velez cam and greeted me by shacking my hand. We proceeded to talk about how wonderful Bogotá was and how spectacular it was. After chatting for a while he escorted me to giant bullet proof bus, i pondered why everything he owned was bullet proof., but i shrugged it off. We rode in the spectacle powerful bus for a while and then we stoped at a base ball diamond. Alvaro Uribe Velez told me his favorite game as a young boy was base ball and he asked if i would join him in for a taste of his childhood, i accepted. We played for a while with some of his soldiers. We played for 2 hours, but it seemed like 5 minutes because of all the fun we had so much fun. It was starting to get late and Hugo had to go home and prep for one of his press conference, he put his hand out and i shook his hand. I wanted to cry and also i did not want to say goodbye to my new friend. We exchanged myspaces and we were off on our own sprat ways.
