Day 2

What is better than Star Bucks and Big B's? The tierra templada! Not to get all Bill Nye the science guy on you, but the tierra templada has the perfect conditions to grow coffee because of of propper tempature. So as an avid coffee unthosiest i decided to give my taste the vacation of a life time. Most of Colombia was warm, but sadly tierra templada were cold because they were located in a high altitude. So a i put on a coat and then realized that my mother was right and should always bring a coat where ever go. Now i prepared for the adventure of a life time.

Coffee Farmers

So i got onto a bus and headed to Chinchina. When i got off the bus i prepared to see a strip mall of coffee shops and sadly there was none. I deiced t go onto a quest to find myself a cup of coffee. i traveled for a couple of minutes and i found a coffee bean farm. I went to what seemed to be a house and knocked. A old man greeted me. He explained to me he was the owner of this farm and was kind enough to take me on a tour of coffee bean plantation.
We walked what to a field where i saw some workers were harvesting what seemed to be coffee beans and then my mouth began to crave for the taste of coffee. The owner took off a couple of beans of a branch of the life saving plant. I beans tasted earthy and not like the coffee plants. The man explained to me that they had to be refined. We soon returned to his house and i sat down at his table and i smelled a familar stench, could it be COFFEE! My dreams were met and i got my coffee. When i put the substance in my mouth i could feel my stomach smiling. It tasted like nothing i had before. When i asked the man what it the taste in the coffee that makes this stand out from other coffee. He responded with love and the pride of Colombia.
